Imagine stumbling upon picrel, thinking he's either an admin or the sole last boss of an obscure spin off game you didn't play, only to learn he's merely a throwaway design for an CotD for the anime. Disappointing.
I wish more of those CotDs would've reappeared, at least - not just now but even as a kid. The main one I was always hoping for was Brodie - I liked his design and felt his gimmick made him easily reusable. But then again, characters like Misty or fucking Gary were even easier to bring back and they barely did that for whatever reason, so that was a pipe dream from the get go.
