>>57474110>A lot of the time I'm not into younger characters because they all have a certain "vibe" that screams "we are appealing to teenager girls and not older women"this is very true. characters now are extremely "age" coded in a almost delusional way. less interest in writing a character with a certain amount of life experience and more "uhhh kid old theyre hyper 40 year old... arggghh grumpy..."
i notice too people dont make old-er male characters really. they kind of stop after 20 something, skip to 40-50 and then skip again to like 80.
the female ones have a big problem too of what you say where all of them are built for somebody younger to go "woahhhhh age gap mommy dommy shes so ara ara" i just want a developed character whos a certain age...
