Exploration in pokemon was and will always be a one time wonder. And that's only when there are things to explore, hoenn has some to it but not nearly enough to say that gen 3 has good replayability. Every aspect of exploration can be enjoyed only once in pokemon games, and this was lost once every game became a hallway.
Emerald Battle Frontier is the best one. Sinnoh fans can have their downgraded version.
