1. Gamefreak has been lazy for 20 years
2. The franchise prints money regardlss of quality because their games have always been split into 2 version with a potential 3rd in the way, has remakes, and not they are replaced 3rd versions with remakes regardless of added content (USUM). As well as selling gimmicks along side it. Link cables, pokebank, pokemon home, etc
3. The seethers are now so blind to pokemons own history that any valid complain they have is easily overlooked and overturned on them because instead of explaining it to get people on their side they would rather crank their seethe up to 11.
While GF and TPC were indeed worried for a bit there. They are now thankful to these idiots and even the President of NINTENDO is having to side with SwSh on this and the seethers still can't fucking see it.
I mean holy shit they are the living embodiment of "allow your enemies their space of hate, they will destroy themselves in the process".
