Surprisingly, the second order analysis doesn't change the rankings all that much, at least for monotypes. Aside from breaking a few ties, the order of the types from best to worst remains the same in both defensive and offensive cases.
It is interesting to see how some types change in the second order analysis. Grass is often argued to be underrated defensively because it has "good" resistances, but you can see here that this extra information doesn't change its standing very much. On the other hand, Ground is the single best offensive type on paper and its position is actually strengthened on second order analysis.
