At least it recognized that things got intense with the mega evolution, that part didn't even sound that bad, but the buildup wasn't there and Ash sounded really, really bad.
That said, Team Rocket was actually watchable this time. They're always this good with the rhymes right? I never got what the japanese equivalent to this quirk is. They don't seem to rhyme in the subs. Is there any subs at all anywhere that localizes the team rocket bits while keeping the rest of the translation raw? Just for the sake of rewatching episodes.
Or at least a sub out there that replaces japanese pokemon names with english ones?
