>>25027281Stall only works in the mainline games because you can make amazing defensive cores out of Pokemon that resist half the fucking type chart and have 1 single weakness. Even then it's only barely staying alive due to bizarre edge-cases like Mega Sableye, Ferrothorn, or Chansey.
With the type chart being totally redone in TPDP and no insane types like Steel existing, making a defensive core like that is almost impossible and anything you try will have massive holes in what it can wall. And way too many tools exist to counteract stall if it does start to be popular.
