I've been using him and a few other non-OUs with Hippowdon to see how they do in weather, and this guy is one of the best, good enough to maybe be considered to be OU. He is bulky enough to take a physical attack easily while he SDs up, and in the sand he's only outsped by already fast choice scarf users.
Of course, he's not as good as Excadrill, but he's number one in taking his spot, and still performs well.
Also, latias is better.
