I also only collect them for the art, I haven't ever played a real round of the game.
Arita's definitely worth sticking on the list, and Himeno drew Fossil 52 Omanyte, so them as well.

I also have a bit of a bias towards Naoki Saito but idk how you feel about them.

For me the thing that does it is 100% the TCG. Maybe some of the books, but never the games.
But looking back on that old card art, it really shows a static product of another time. Especially the Keiji Kinebuchi cards, like Magnemite.

The sparkle on the cover of this is nice but it's a shame it doesn't add much over the red non-collector's edition one. Still nice to have though.
