You know, I don't expect every Pokemon to be good. Some Pokemon are meant to be outclassed by others, as an early game option until you can obtain the better one later in the game, as Pokemon is an RPG and that's how many RPGs work as Pokemon take the place of the traditional weapons and armor equips. Some Pokemon are meant for gimmicks, like Unown and Luvdisc, but when your gimmick revolves around battles, you'd expect it to at least be decent at them, right?
