I tried to get her to try the main games, but I don't think she will. She always has an open mind about my hobbies and interests, and I do for hers. She got me into certain Netflix shows and I got her into certain video games. We've played Earthbound and Undertale together, though we haven't beaten the former.
All in all, she is okay with me liking it, and thinks that it's
