Isn't Pokemon Blazed Glazed an upgrade from Glazed? I started the former and it's nice, but haven't gotten too far in it.
My personal favorites are Prism and Storm Silver. I also liked Pokemon Vega. Got a legit random encounter Shiny in it.

I like Prism and Vega more. Got my first naturally found Shiny in Vega at that. Prism made some remarkable small touches that made the game a lot of fun to enjoy. One was making Doubleslap Fairy-type so Pokemon like Marill could actually have a scaled-down physical Fairy-type move instead of having to wait until high levels for Play Rough. Another was introducing the Shiny Ball as a reward for a floor panel challenge.

Prism and Vega are solid choices. Prism is a Crystal hack that's really fleshed out and up to date with Gen VI mechanics. Vega is a FireRed hack that's probably your best bet for fakemons.

Pic related was the highlight of my Vega run.

What do you mean specifically by "it"?

I had nearly a year under my belt of Japanese going into the game. I had my emulator open to one side, a small Google Translate window open to the other side at the bottom for new words, and my usual window of tabs on top.

Also, I caught this Shiny in my playthrough.
