Unova and Kalos are so aimless and unmemorable compared to Alola. Sure, Galar is underwhelming but it's still much more enjoyable to play through.
Gen 7 and 8 are direct improvements over Gen 5 and 6. I don't know why you'd even need to ask this because it was very clearly not kino considering the only reason they put it in the game was to pad out how boring and dull the rest of the region is.

I'll say it again for you Kalosperms and Unovabortions-- ALOLA IS MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE TO PLAY THROUGH!! This is fact.

What? LGPE is the only modern core remake we've gotten as of late.
Given the dex cut, I don't think we'll ever get another remake like ORAS/HGSS that actually has the entire dex.
Anyway here's the sales numbers, it actually seems that the modern remake is outselling the older ones, ORAS is the only one it hasn't outsold.
