Just beat the first gym and made my way to Union Cave, so far so good. Also noticed I made a mistake on Coins gender with my previous post, whoops.
Gonna count the Togepi egg as my Violet City encounter instead of wherever they actually hatch (most likely Azalea), since that's where I got it.
