I don't plan my teams either, but THIS i truly don't understand. In the leadup to ORAS i even saw people who'd level up the different pokemon to different levels with the intent of poketransfering them at different specific times. Like, they breed a competitive corphish, but then level it to 35 with the intent of sending it over directly after beating Norman. Regimenting and preplanning your own first experience of a new game to that extent just seems ridiculous to me.
