But nope. No nuzlockes, no monotype runs, speed runs suck, you can't turn off the exp share, game makes you have an advantage, it's impossible to lose. There's no wiggle room for choice. Part of gaming is discovering things on your own and making your own adventure.
But it is really shitty when a series you've followed since you were a kid favors posers. So it's not surprising that lots of people are angry, and they should be.
