>>49183765I can see vacations from its conventional format but some side stuff in the game felt like a pisstake on the series like that veteran Eevee trainers. Plus while the anime turned to more of a slice of life with battles, it turned out people actually thought that an improvement over the formula as the original series used to lean more on character focus and worldbuilding rather than following the games to a tee. If not for USUM and the anime, I'm not so sure Gen 7 would be remembered so fondly.
