Inspired by Mystic Umbreon (
www.youtube.com/watch?v=cf4ASp…) [Embed] I have decided to create a Pokemon Region consisting only of Water-Type Pokemon*
The region has (as almost all Pokemon Regions):
- 3 Starters (All are amongst the most popular Water Starters and have an extra form - Mega or Ash-Greninja Form),
- an early Bird,
- an early Rodent,
- 2 early Bug lines
- a Pika-Clone (Marill-line)
- fossils
- Pseudo Legendary line (this was problematic as no Psuedo has the Water type hence I have chosen Goodra who evolves under Rain and is the most Water-ish of all 9 Pseudos)
- a Minor Legendary Trio (since Suicune, Keldeo and Tapu Fini all have BST between 570-580 it worked out quite well)
- Major/Cover Legendaries (Kyogre and Palkia)
- Cute Mythical(s) (Phione and Manaphy)
- a Cool Mythical (Volcanion)
I generally believe the Pokedex ended up quite well. The order bases on possible game availibility (we have the standard early Pokemon, later Lake Pokemon moving to Shore/Beach Pokemon, Tropical Ocean Pokemon, Arctic Ocean Pokemon, ending with Gift Pokemon like fossils, Castform, Rotom and Starters (including an Eevee) with Pseudo and Legendaries at the end.
*I have also taken Pokemon which evolve from/to Water Types and loose the type as well as mentioned early Goodra line.
