Remember in gen 3 and 4 when you could send your Pokemon from the maingames to XD/Colo/PBR/Ranch? Or even something like the Ranger games giving you Pokemon you can transfer over like the Manaphy egg and Deoxys.
Spin offs recently have done their own thing and there's been litte cross connection which is odd because Home is allowing for mutual backwards compatibility between different generations and games so it'd be the best hub for all this stuff.
