>>53532994It was EXTRA annoying that every time it leveled up if it had enough friendship is it'd played the evolution animation and then just stopped mid-way through unless you stopped it. I guess it was to add intrigue for players who missed Gen 2 who didn't know what Golbat evolved into but it's just such a silly restriction, especially in repeat playthroughs.
