The whole point of the Pokemon world is living with Pokemon, and all the main games, anime and manga involve training them to fight so you can go from one town to the next in a decently-sized region and fight Gym Leaders so you can enter the Pokemon League and try to become Champion, barring some assholes that get in your way when they try to take over the world. What, do you want a Pokemon pet simulator or something? Or are you one of those morons that wants an "open-world" game?
