All what you said is reasonable true, but exactly the same can be told about other settings, the rich hawaian culture, the misterious landscapes of britain and its iconic arquitecture, or the comfyness of taisho era.
But what we had when we got Sun and moon and Galar? Absolutely nothing. Outside of a couple of pokemon heavely inspired in the regions everything was generic as fuck, it was not hawai and not britain as it could have been kanto or hoenn. There was nothing distinctive about their people or places.
In arceus they did a bit of a better job and still was quite underwelming.
If intstead of Paldea they would have picked texas...there would be literally no difference. You would have exactly the very same game with the exact same characters, except you may have a pokemon with a cowboy hat and the new tauros would be more similar to an american bull instead of a black bull.
