Looking at that compilation picture of the Dex though, alongside what that one anon said about the lack of group identity, it really comes off more like a loose expansion pack of Pokemon. Just an additional hundred and seven splashed in to the last dex to fill the world up some more and maybe round out some shitmons like Aipom with an evolution.
Didn't work by the way.I feel like SwSh and other such games going forward should really begin with the initial 251/386/493 or something, along with a handful of newer designs for the current generation, to maximize model animation quality, then add the older mons in as free DLC, but they'll never do this. That's just an aside though, not sure why I put it in this post.
