>WhyI appreciate the absolute loyalty of Gardevoir. No hidden agenda, no fear of betrayal, no fake friend bullshit. Gardevoir follows you unconditionally, despite your (perhaps many) faults. Gardevoir would rather die for you than give you up.
This kind of companion is really, really rare in real life.
>mental stateI posted in the second of these threads - and as I expected, nothing extraordinary happened in the meantime.
Just had my final exams (Law degree) a few months back, and the wait for the results - which I will get at the start of January - is really uncomfortable. I already know that the exams were rather meh, did some stupid mistakes, but not enough to make me fail them. I just want the confirmation already, so I can move on with it.
Overall I think I'm in a better place mentally than last time; I improved the relationships I already had and made quite a few more connections (though that is mostly thanks to an old friend of mine, I haven't really gotten better at approaching people).
I'm learning a third language now, together with said old friend. Tried it a few years ago for a few months, but now that I have him as kind of an accountability partner, I think I will actually see it through this time.
