I hadn’t played the game or DLC before, but now that I have I can see the “Kieran hates you because he got cucked” memes were just memes. If Kieran has a crush on anyone, it’s the player. His anger came from his own self-hatred for feeling weak and pathetic, and then the player showed up and was everything he was not. Ogerpon choosing the player just made that more obvious to him which is why he became obsessed with becoming strong.
But seriously he has more ship fuel with the player than any other boy in the games that I’ve seen.
