If you wanna use it twice a day, that's 560 candies you need to put in.
These are the candies I'd willingly throw in anyway:

Psychic is best for Ralts, but can also be used for Espeon (Eevee) and Mr. Mime.
Rock is best for Larvitar, but also Geodude and Onix.
Poison can be used for Croagunk as an oil gatherer, or Gulpin as a dream shard farmer.
Water is very useful for the Squirtle, Totodile, Psyduck, and Vaporeon (Eevee) families.
Normal use useful for Raticate, Kangaskhan, Vigoroth/Slaking, and Eevee.
I'd argue poison is the least useful here, and a good Toxicroak is still good. You're not realistically going to run an Arbok though, it's probably the worst berry specialist (there are no psychic berry specialists).
