I've googled it, there are loads of others with the same issue as me who have contacted Datel and got nothing but automated/spam responses.
I went on their website and tried their FAQ fixes but none of them worked.
Switching to Windows 7 is what made it work in the end. (barely)
It still crashes and resets every now and then. I wouldn't trust it with a giveaway in case it fucks up and I lost someone's Pokemon.
