Sometimes games or other aspects of life will have an effective strategy. However, that same strategy may not be as effective depending on certain variables. This doesn't make every aspect of life a game of rock paper scissors though. It just means that sometimes people make the right decisions and sometimes people make the wrong decisions even if they think they're always making the right decisions, because there are factors outside of their control and influence.
