Also your arguments about MCs make no sense; Roy is Ash Jr. but even MORE optimistic and bombastic so for the large chunk of pokeani fans that liked Ash they have their guy; Liko is a very different take on a protag, like an even more touchy and reserved May or Dawn who's forced to become a strong trainer and not relegate so much of herself into contests or play 2nd fiddle to the 'real' mc; Dot is a completely unique new type of character that frankly represents 4chan NEETs to a T and you not even mentioning her when she should be your fave by default by how you're acting is mystifying to me; and Amethio's by FAR the best and most interesting rival they've ever put in pokeani, a true slow-burn heel-face-turn like your Gary's or Silver's (ingame at least) of old but given a lot more screentime and focus. We have literally FOUR different MCs that are each arguably better than Ash depending on your tastes and knock the pants off most also-rans he traveled around with that never got to do much outside of their one-note gimmick and never got to be anywhere near as powerful a combat-oriented trainer like ALL FOUR of these do.
Tl;dr idk what you want and I know you'll have more ass-slurping haters on 4chan than anywhere else agreeing with you but imho Horizons has been the best pokeani has been in ages and I'm extremely satisfied with it personally, as you should be too. Or at the very least, give valid criticisms and not random doomer rants.
