I'll drop a few I made recently to start things off. I'm pretty trash at movesets so I tend to focus on making a cool setting and a Gym that feels alive.
This one would be in a picturesque meadow town like Floaroma. You head into the town's Grass Gym and are met with a blackened forest inside full of dead trees.
The trainers inside all use Grass Pokemon, but they all seem pissed about something. And whenever you beat one of them, they storm out in a huff.
When you finally reach the Leader, he surprises you with a full Fire team.
Turns out what was formerly a Grass Gym has recently had a new leader arrive, he hasn't been getting on at all with the Gym's old employees and his 'redecorating' (ie burning the shit out of everything) has been getting on everyone's nerves.
After you beat him he mellows out a bit, and by the time you return for a rematch he's fully embraced a Grass/Fire hybrid Gym.
