>>39753021Yep, just like in my first point people weigh in on the first couple days and then they give up quickly if it doesn't stick. I think Wooloo had the most staying power of any of them, and after June it was totally forgotten.
This is why I think smaller yet more frequent updates would be better. A new little tidbit of information every other day or every 3 days would keep people invested better than weekly/monthly updates. If the tidbit is good, people will hold on to it. If it isn't, at least there's the promise of another new tidbit coming up soon afterwards.
>>39753030>well they reused animation for every pokemonAnd that's disappointing. Every gen from 1 to 6 did something different, whether it was a new sprite or adding animations. Gen 7 and 8 haven't changed much at all from gen 6. 3D model changes are extremely minor (pic related is the most notable example in gen 7) and most of what they do change is either adding different shaders (aka, what they've done in LGPE and SwSh) or slightly changing the texture art, which is something anyone can do in gimp with a ripped gen 6/7 model pretty easily.
And that's just the models, the move animations from gen 1 to gen 7 have ALWAYS had changes. Most of the moves we've seen from gen 7 to gen 8 have had identical animations with only one that's been notably changed, Brave Bird.
It's not looking good. Because they've spent so little effort on what they're porting over, it would better generate hype if they put better focus on the newer content.
