I mean, the idea of Pokémon having serious competition to give GF a kick in the pants and to get them to increase their effort and quality.
But, from what I've heard about Youkai Watch,
>1) it makes XY look hard by comparison>2) it's very juvenile; the anime's ending song is literally about shitThat is definitely NOT what I want Pokémon to try to imitate. It would just cause the decline in the series to get even worse.
