>>57725087despite X/Y basically being the game that made me think "yeah i think im finally too old to enjoy pokemon (games i still followed the manga sporadically)" i still believe it got way too much hate even today. something about it felt undercooked despite other parts feeling cool like megas and streamlining EV training. other than that from team flare to the gym leaders, and even the champion who more people probably forget exists than pic related, everything felt bland. id still take it any day over what ive seen from newer games though
