You know, I was genuinely questioning if I should really continue Valentine's story for a hot few hours. It's clear that my story has the most inconsistent quality, and it feels consistently the weakest of the entire thread. I felt like Snivyanon and Machomon were only giving me the time of day because they just wanted to see me improve, and that no one else really gave a shit.
Adding to this, all of my stories run into some problem or another where they don't progress past chapter 2. I'm determined to break the seeming curse placed on my stories, but I also didn't know if Valentine's story was worth the effort.
It would've just been so much easier to post what I had of my WIP in a catbox and leave the thread, to never turn back, just as I've done every other time I'd written a story.
So, when I'm facing down all of that, was there any value in continuing Valentine's story?

I wish there was a good way for me to post parts of it in this thread beyond my WIP updates. Unfortunately, as it stands, the current chapter would take 13 posts, and that's only ballooning.
By the ways, you don't have to read my story through the WIP images to enjoy my story though, my Rentry DOES get updated when I get enough feedback in my final draftings to properly polish my story. In fact, you're missing out on a lot if you don't read the Rentry! There's 8 lines not in that image I'd already written today.
I'm glad you enjoy the antics he gets up to. I hope that it continues to be enjoyable, even in his darkest moments, and not too sugary in his brightest moments.
For the record: I ended up skipping over the escape sequence and the Absol V. Farifarig scene for now, to try to get the story to progress. I KNOW I want to write it, but 40 minutes later and not a single letter written kind of proves that I'm not in the state of mind for that to be any good.
Also, I've already fixed the typos. I dunno why I didn't think to fix them before.
