What truly bother me about Serena is that she does not feel like an actual person. Every aspect of her character feel manufactured & superficial. Unlike Dawn & May that feel like actual young girl same aged as Ash, Serena feels like puppet with no will of her own & being controlled by a string.

Even Serena from Game art feel more alive than Serena from the game.

Serena didn't look like teenager, she looked even older than a Teenager. Even her game counterpart looked more youthful than anime Serena.
