>>13465077TL;DR: It's just explanations for design changes, mainly the anatomy. Main reason for changes are to tie it in better
with the prevos and make it more reptilian than human. The current Aguanaut was made before the current Iguadium
so the biggest reasons for this change is A) tie it in as much as I can, B) Make it less human in both pose and anatomy
C) update the art and design so it goes together better, i.e. merging the tail with the body so it goes down along the back instead of just butting out of its ass.
Made the salt sharper and less fluffy to avoid it looking like a shell. Also felt like the salt on the hands in particular
was ambiguous in which way they were attached to the hand, so I tried to make it clear that it's almost like bracelets/battle gloves.
The progression on the salt on the hands from 1st stage to 3rd stage now goes: mittens->boxing gloves->fist weapons
I felt the current body became too stocky and square as well as too human. Therefore I arched it slightly and making the chest
literally a barrel chest, but without the obvious trap, shoulder and bicep muscles. Added peck muscles though to better show the outline of its chest,
and make it look less fat.
I made the salt on its thighs into kneepads that encircle the leg because I felt it looks odd with it just sitting onto of the leg,
and imagining it being glued on makes me cringe. It's also a way to further separate it from Dewott.
I felt the sandal-like line on the feet gave that area too much contrast in colour, so I just made the toes white instead.
The face, or rather the head salt is lightly longer, more similar to the current prevos. The cheekbone like salt on the current Aguanaut felt
a bit out of place so I just gave it another spike, which I actually found to be great in creating confident smirks or other facial expressions.
The long faceplate also ties together with the salt now going from the back of its neck all the way down to and along the tail.
