What upsets me the most about SwSh is that I found it genuinely enjoyable in some aspects and others terrible.
Like most of the new Pokemon look great, the gym leaders and new stadiums were great, I really really liked the tournament for the championship. But I also can't ignore the very bad things in the game that threw me out of it like the Piers concert, the big boss of the story basically being autocompleted by NPC Zacian and Zama, the lack of polish all over the game, and the reused models and animations. The Battle Tower changes I think were great by not killing your streak but the tower battles themselves were piss easy which makes the whole reason of removing streaks worthless.
I'm done with the game till DLC because I genuinely hope that the expansions improve on the wild area, which honestly it was one of the best things this game did. It should have one weather for all areas at all times instead of once a month, and I'm betting they're gonna do the same for the new areas, but I want to hope they'll make better on DLC, potentially with an actual battle frontier or set of facilities? They did say new challenges are coming, so I'm hoping for the best.
TLDR I'm a faggot fence sitter with mixed feelings and can't decide whether or not I actually liked it.
