They seek out the largest juiciest berries (the redder the better) and grind them against grooved conical skullcaps to juice them. They get all of their nourishment this way. They prefer to live in dense forests and overgrown or abandoned gardens.
Like garden gnomes in real life, many people keep life-size replicas of them in their gardens as a means of scaring off other Pokémon, for good luck and plentiful harvest, or simply as cute decor. Some people, however, may or may not notice that their little figure has been replaced by a real one. They are experts at standing stock-still, but may find it hard to if you waggle a plump berry in front of their face.
The evolved form is much more of a ruffian that it’s pre-evo.
