I like trying to rework cut betamons and make them into interesting Pokemon, and I really needed a good pure-type Bug since there's an awkward lack of really good designed ones (aside from Pinsir)

The idea with its ability is that it allows any contact moves it uses to steal the secondary type from its target for itself. (If the user is a pure type, it'll turn it to normal and still take on whatever it had for its secondary ability, and if the target is pure bug it'll be turned normal first, and on the second attack it can turn itself bug/normal). The ability doesn't activate if the user already has a secondary type.
That ability should then be combined with a signature move that allows the Pokemon to remove its secondary type (and maybe deal a bit of recoil damage) while inflicting massive damage to the target. And, unlike with Pokemon like Kecleon, the type changing here should be more useful as not only can it have more control, but there's less worry about the self-resisting since you're stealing the Pokemon's type and hitting it with it.
I'm not the best at asm with abilities but I hope I can get this to work and haven't made it too ambitious. I'd also love if its sprite color changes one of its colors depending on what secondary type it had, like how mosquitos can have blood visible in their abdomen. I do need to revamp its sprite though.
Anyways just though I'd share it
