The next morning, I brought a heavily sharpened wooden pencil with me, along with a small, but relatively powerful remote controlled launcher toy. After I made my way to her locker, I put the launcher inside and taped it to the top shelf of her locker so that it wouldn't move after the blast-off. I made sure the launcher was aimed perfectly at my eye level before loading the pencil, and would press the launch button the moment I saw her make eye contact with it. Later that morning, everything went as planned as I watched from a distance... right up until after I had pressed the button. I failed to account for the fact that she was a fair bit taller than me, so the moment she turned her eyes up, the pencil wasn't launched toward her eye. It was launched into her mouth and lodged itself in her throat. No one else knew what happened, but a nearby teacher took her off somewhere after she started screaming and struggling to breathe.
Perhaps it was better that the pencil went into her mouth and not her eye. It was also good that I couldn't get my hands on one of those scalpels. She was out for about two weeks before she came back to school again. Because of how meticulously I planned out everything, as well as doing everything whilst wearing disposable gloves, I was never found out. I never showed up in the security camera feeds, no one saw me as I prepped her locker, and I made sure that none of my fingerprints could have been left anywhere. To this day, I have told no one about this incident but this thread, not even my parents.
I was a stupid little 12 year-old kid. A stupid, weak, cowardly, and arrogant little moron. I deeply regret what I've done, and wish I could turn back the hands of time to undo that event. I know I didn't kill or permanently injure anyone, but just the thought of how far I went to hurt someone without confronting them directly sickens me to my very core. I'm sure my penance will come for me one day.
