Notice how it only uses one red instead of two reds?
Notice how it only uses one yellow instead of two yellows?
Notice how the colors are isolated to its wings instead of on the entire thing?
Fucking Alolan Marowak does a better job at having a dia de los muertos theme and I'm not even sure if it's actually trying at it. Mindlessly slapping things from the real world onto a Pokemon just so you can say "it's based on this!" doesn't make the design clever. It just makes it poorly executed and lazy.
