She believed that it was her duty to protect the world from the meteoroid and no else, it was a way for her to cope with her loss.
So personally I don't really hate her, I know that some people can really become delusional when losing someone really close, that + the fact that her life is lterally about being the chosen one or whatever.
The only problem is that she doesn't have a proper closure like N, it's just implied that she's finally freed from her shackles.
