I get how GF is experimenting with 3D production for the first time along with dealing with a massive project like this yet at the same time it felt like they decided to take the easy way out and just drop the ball midway in the game
It sucks dick that your rivals and the E4 aren't even as formidable as they can get and the fact that post game can be summarized as "you fight Team Flare guy controlling your friend and this Battle Mansion thing" really just kills it for me back in 2013-14
Worst part about it is that they could have included the whole of France where the South is a post game region filled with pokemons from different regions like in FRLG's Sevii Islands/Emerald's Safari Zone and instead of the regional dex being cramped,we could have had a thing where a few pokemon from different regions could be caught pre-completion with the majority being available post game
The worst part of it all is that GF could have actually ironed out the kinks in X and Y but because they want to bank on the 3DS they decided to just give us an incomplete mess with forgettable event legendaries
This where the thoughts I had back then and honestly I still cling on to them because I really could not get myself to play X/Y back then and had to wait it out until S/M and US/UM
