Finished my first Hardcore Nuzlocke run, and also my first romhack playing Pokemon Gaia. Great game, maybe a little bit harder then main games with a couple of spikes but felt just right. I almost wiped to the last antagonist fight (Morgana), doing two fights back to back with no healing and facing all the Regicucks is kinda BS. My Infernape had to dodge a Zen Headbutt, it was a miracle.
During the run my MVP was for sure Granbull, absolute monster being Fairy + Intimidate + Charm, walled a lot of mons and shit on every single dragon. The E4 fights was cheesed with Dragon Dance Mega Altaria setup, dicked almost everything down, Infernape was also pretty useful for coverage and switching out with U-turn for the right setup spot. Hardest fight was the Grass trainer, had to do a Relicanth pivot and dodge a Swagger from Whimsicott.
