>Their designs aren't pokemon-like
Arguable because every generation manages to surprise us with various kinds of pokemon, be them cartoony or realistic, serious or light-hearted, innocent or unsettling. I'd say they look more realistic, but in a way, they also feel light hearted. Of course, different views vary.
>Creator of the designs is known
We know his nickname (D.I) and his email.
That's literally it. This is the person we keep associating these designs to.
No need to ask for DeviantArt, Tumblr, Instagram, SheezyArt, FurAffinity, what not. This person literally does not have a online account or simply hasn't posted it.
No one found out the meaning behind the nickname, of which he probably alluded that people could actually track him down with (anyone can lie on the internet so this might have been one).
>Their creator designed megas for them, so that's a complete debunk
Food for thought.
Someone actually had the time and patience to come up with not three, not six, but nine designs based from the starters' first form. Now you're going to ask, they're not nine designs.
>Fake middle stage evolutions (that's three)
>Fake final stage evolutions (that's three more)
>Fake mega stage evolutions (bringing us to a total of nine)
Think of that as you will.
And according to some info, a friend of his was apparently the one who "leaked" them.
>They don't fit with their first stages
They make as much sense as the actual trio that's supposedly true. People merely come up with reasons on whether they actually make sense or not. If the middle stage designs were left out of this scenario, people would be scratching their heads as much as some do with Poppmaid and friends. Without that middle link, we just aren't aware of what's going on. And as of now, we have only gotten hints recently that may allude Popplio into becoming more like Poppmaid. Were it not for those hints, people would be losing their heads over how on earth it would make sense with Popplio.
