I kept phasing on them in Wild Zone 5 while fast travel spamming there for Shiny Froakies, there's three spawns in range there and it's super easy to do with just a standard turbo controller by having Autofire A on and pressing start after you enter Wild Zone 5. >>58669196Probably a controversial opinion, but I'm actually cool with shiny locks on STORY Legendaries because they're clearly there to prevent you from wasting hundreds of hours soft resetting and not progressing the game
or more realistically so the Pokemon wasn't shiny in battle despite not being shiny in the preceeding cutscene. It's when its non-story legendaries that it pisses me off, like every single returning legendary in SV's DLC being shiny locked.
