It did feel like a nice little adventure trying to complete the Pokedex, like finding that one mon on your radar you needed to evolve one of your guys. With the way they're handling things now you just wait for the next batch of new Pokemon, quickly catch them all since their spawnrate is through the roof, do a few raids to grind your legendaries and perhaps get a shiny one and then participate in the occasional event to centered around x Pokemon and proceed to catch this Pokemon's shiny form 37 times.
