Low-elo is full of shitters who send out their Gothitelle/Hatterene turn 1 and try set up trick room, giving Greedent the opportunity to belly drum and then dynamax turn 2. It's base 20 speed means that under trick room, it outspeeds their trick room threats like Snorlax and Copperajah, while speed tying with Ferrothorn and Torkoal. Really great physical bulk, even without dynamax. Only downside is it gets reamed by special attacks before it has a chance to belly drum, and that the normal max move lowers opponents speed, which can be bad against trick room teams.
