>>55367282It's grown on me a bit, but still more or less the same -- Kingambit's cool, but Bisharp is superior. I like the shogun look, and it's an appropriate next step (even if an unneeded one). The beetle silhouette is clever, though a bit unnecessary, and it wove a lot of different typical kabuto types into one design. The cape-like hair is also cool and works well as a visual shorthand for a status symbol. Extrapolating the horn into a full on katana works well thematically and visually, and it being used as It's signature attack is a nice coupling of meaning-- plays on the scheming, diabolical samurai trope (false bowing/begging for mercy to conceal a surprise attack) while it being an attack outright itself in the form of a overhead katana swing. There's clearly thought put into the design here.
On the otherhand, it loses a lot of the sleek, coolness from Bisharp though. Bisharp is almost ninja-like, Kingambit is relatively immobile. Kingambit's also a bit overly complex design wise, I think it could stand to lose the torso blades (itd hardly impact the beetle sillhouette). And, worst of all, what

I can take the sitting, but the fact that its ALWAYS bound to sitting is just so fucking shitty. If you could actually see Kingambit get up and run around, especially with how long it's hair is, it would double my appreciation for this fucker instantly. It'd be like Hakumen from Blazblue or Owl from Sekiro. SO close, but they just had to do some shitty addition like that.
