Game design and visual aesthetic arguments aside, you have to admit that BDSP is just an objectively shoddy product. Sure ORAS had its problems, but at least it was a serviceable and well-functioning game.
BDSP is so horrendously broken you can beat the game in 17 minutes. That's on-par with OG gen 1 levels of jank. Outsourcing the remakes so they can work on the Arceus meme game was the worst possible scenario for anyone who was anticipating this region. Unfortunately despite the slap in the face we got it still sold like hotcakes, and Legends will certainly follow suit as well. In terms of the future quality of games we are living in the darkest timeline lads.
